When a new House is opened, the design team creates new products inspired by that location. The products on offer include the distinctive striped towels that surround the pools like Shoreditch House with its abundance of candy stripes as well as crockery, glassware, one-off vintage pieces sourced by the design team on their travels, chairs, framed limited edition prints and other furniture, textiles and accessories. Some items have been selected from Berlin, Miami and New York, while others have been specifically designed for the recent openings: Soho House Chicago and Soho Farmhouse.
Soho House report that they were often asked by visitors and guests where they sourced the products from so an interiors collection only seemed natural. And it’s true, after my visits to Shoreditch House and Dean St Townhouse, I have been in love with the the overall interior design, especially the black and white Burleigh crockery. You can get the Soho House look for your own home and it won’t break the bank. My other favourites from the collection include the Portobello cashmere throw, House hammam towel, Renfrew wool cushion and some of the vintage pieces like the 1950s Moroccan Diamond rug. What’s not to love? The Soho Home collection is now available through its own standalone website www.sohohome.com. Get it before it goes, these pieces are sure to be snapped up pronto.
